One&Only Portonovi

One&Only Portonovi occupies its own private peninsula at the mouth of Boka Bay — a five-star ultra-luxury resort of villa-scaled suites, private beaches and long-view terraces, designed with the discretion and hospitality culture for which the One&Only brand is known worldwide. The architecture takes its cue from the Adriatic vernacular — cut stone, terracotta, deep loggias — while interiors, by Champalimaud and other studios, are consciously restrained and quietly rich.

Accommodations begin at exceptionally generous sea-view rooms and step through junior suites, one- and two-bedroom suites and, at the top of the range, standalone villas with private pools, gardens and dedicated hosts. Every room faces the water. Bathrooms are marble sanctuaries with soaking tubs, double vanities and rain showers; balconies and terraces are deep, furnished for living, and framed to the bay and the Luštica peninsula opposite.

The wellness offering is exceptional. Espace One&Only Portonovi is the world's first Chenot Espace — a full medical-wellness institute integrated inside the resort — offering multi-day biolight, detox and longevity programmes alongside a conventional spa menu, hammam, sauna, indoor pool and thermal circuit. Guests who are not on programme still enjoy full access to the standard spa and pools.

The resort has several distinct pool experiences, including an adults-only pool with private cabanas and a main pool overlooking the marina, plus a private sand-and-pebble beach with attended service. Dining is one of the most serious offerings on the Adriatic — signature restaurants include Sabia by Giorgio Locatelli (Italian) and a Mediterranean grill, along with a beach club, a Levantine option, a poolside restaurant and 24-hour in-suite dining.

Portonovi has its own marina with helipad, and the resort arranges private yacht charters, historic-town excursions, Lovćen day trips and helicopter transfers to Dubrovnik. Tivat airport is twenty minutes by car.
