Falaj Al Mualla Fort & Oasis
Falaj Al Mualla is the eastern inland enclave of the UAQ emirate, 40 minutes from the coast. Its centrepiece is the restored 18th-century fort — historically the Al Mualla family's summer residence — set at the edge of a working date-palm oasis fed by a traditional falaj.
