Al Fahidi Historical District

Al Fahidi (also known as Bastakiya) is a preserved district of 19th-century Emirati merchant houses with tall barjeel wind towers. It now hosts the Coffee Museum, Coin Museum, XVA Gallery and the excellent Arabian Tea House café.

Visitor Tip

Combine with an abra crossing across the Creek to Deira's Gold and Spice Souks — the whole heritage circuit takes half a day.
