Overview
The story
A 10-million-litre suspended tank inside Dubai Mall, home to more than 33,000 marine animals including one of the largest collections of sand tiger sharks in the world. Guests walk through a 48-metre acrylic tunnel, take a glass-bottom-boat ride across the top of the tank and continue upstairs to the Underwater Zoo, where three ecological zones — rainforest, rocky shore and living ocean — house otters, crocodiles, penguins and rays. The experience is compact, air-conditioned and designed to fit inside a Dubai Mall afternoon.
