Luxury Van

A luxury van with a private chauffeur is our most popular category for families and small groups exploring Egypt. The service is a full-day charter of a late-model executive van — most commonly a Mercedes V-Class, a Mercedes Viano or a Hyundai H1 executive — with an English-speaking chauffeur assigned to you across the day. The van seats up to seven adults with generous luggage capacity, or five adults with substantial luggage — enough for a Cairo family sightseeing programme, a Luxor east-and-west-bank tour with cameras and picnic hampers, or a Red Sea day out with snorkelling equipment and beach kit. Interiors are configured for comfort: individual reclining seats, air-conditioning with rear-cabin controls, tinted windows, and — on most vehicles — Wi-Fi and USB charging at every seat. The service is deliberately flexible. Your chauffeur waits between stops, adjusts the itinerary in real time, coordinates with our concierge team on lunch bookings, and — where relevant — with the private Egyptologist on the day’s programme. The vehicle can be held for the full day, or for a defined transfer with dedicated waiting time; multi-day charters with the same chauffeur are the preferred configuration for longer itineraries. The luxury van is ideal for families with children (car seats available on request); for multi-generational travel where seat comfort and cabin volume matter; for small groups of friends on a shared itinerary; and for business trips that combine airport transfers, in-town meetings and end-of-day dinners. Best practice: at booking, share the number of adults, the number and age of children, and the estimated luggage volume; and — for multi-day bookings — confirm the following day’s start time by 18:00 the previous evening. Child seats must be requested at least twenty-four hours ahead.
