Luxor Airport Transfer

Luxor International Airport is small, efficient and quick to clear — but it sits eight kilometres outside the city, and a private transfer remains the most graceful way to move between the terminal and your hotel or cruise vessel. Our chauffeurs meet every arriving flight with a name-board immediately after luggage reclaim, and — for departures — collect you from your hotel or cruise gangway with an ample time buffer. The vehicle is a late-model sedan or luxury van, air-conditioned, insured and driven by an English-speaking chauffeur familiar with every Luxor hotel and every cruise mooring on both banks of the Nile. Bottled water is stocked; a cool towel is offered on hot days. The transfer includes meet-and-assist as standard and up to sixty minutes of free waiting time. The service is suited to every Luxor traveller — families, honeymooners, cultural travellers, older guests and independent travellers alike. Cruise passengers embarking or disembarking on the west or east banks appreciate the door-to-gangway service; hotel guests appreciate the calm arrival after a long connecting itinerary from Cairo, Aswan or overseas. For arriving guests we recommend booking a same-day light programme — the illumination of Luxor Temple in the evening pairs particularly well with an afternoon arrival. For departing guests we recommend allowing an ample buffer at the airport during peak December and Easter periods. Additional configurations are available. Direct transfers to Hurghada (four hours), to Aswan (three hours) or to a Nile cruise embarkation on the west bank can be arranged.
