Group Coach

A full-size touring coach with a private driver is the right vehicle for groups of thirty to fifty travellers moving together across Cairo, Luxor, Aswan or a full Egypt itinerary. The service is a full-day charter of a late-model, air-conditioned Mercedes-Benz Travego, MAN Lion’s Coach or Volvo 9700 with a full tour-coach specification — fifty reclining seats, individual reading lights and air vents, panoramic tinted windows, an on-board toilet on longer routes, a large luggage hold, and a professional public-address system for the tour leader. Every coach is fully insured, non-smoking, driven by an English-speaking chauffeur with a full commercial passenger licence, and — on request — accompanied by a tour leader or Egyptologist guide with a wireless microphone. On multi-day tours a support vehicle can be added for cases where advance-group luggage transfers are required. The service is designed for organised group travel. It is the standard vehicle for university and alumni groups on cultural itineraries, for large corporate incentive programmes and conference field trips, for church and pilgrimage groups combining Cairo and Coptic sites with the Sinai, and for extended-family multi-generational reunions that travel together across a full week or ten-day itinerary. The service is available as a full-day charter or, more commonly, as a multi-day booking with the same chauffeur across the trip. Airport transfers can be built into a multi-day booking. Luggage capacity is generous — up to one large case and one carry-on per passenger — and refrigerated on-board water storage is standard. Best practice: at booking, share the final group size, the total luggage volume, and the itinerary — coach access varies by site (e.g. Karnak and Giza have dedicated coach lots; older sections of Islamic Cairo require a shuttle transfer from a nearby coach lot).
