Rixos Bab Al Bahr

Rixos Bab Al Bahr is Ras Al Khaimah's largest ultra-all-inclusive hotel and, since 2019, the standard-setter in the emirate for the AI-plus category. The property sits on the northern tip of Al Marjan Island with 1.5 kilometres of white-sand beach on three sides and views towards the Musandam headland at sunset. Architecture is contemporary Middle-Eastern — pale limestone, palm colonnades, an enormous open-air marble lobby with domed water feature — and rooms are laid out across a series of low wings so the resort never feels vertical or corporate. The inclusion package (Rixos Ultimate All Inclusive) covers all meals across ten restaurants (Turkish, Italian, Pan-Asian, seafood, family buffet, gastro-pub, beach grill), premium branded drinks, minibar, water sports, kids club, teen club, entertainment programme and select spa services. Rooms are refurbished and generously sized, with balcony or terrace and beach or lagoon views; family rooms sleep up to five. The spa is a full 3,000 m² facility with hammam, snow room and hydro circuit. Location is 40 minutes from Dubai International Airport. Bab Al Bahr suits families, groups and honeymooners who prefer inclusive economics; it is less suited to guests wanting a small quiet boutique feel.
