Ritz-Carlton Al Wadi Desert is Ras Al Khaimah's benchmark for private desert luxury and remains one of the best-run five-star resorts in the northern Emirates. The property sits inside the 500-hectare Al Wadi Nature Reserve — a fenced conservation area of red-sand dunes, ghaf trees and grazing Arabian oryx — and every villa faces its own stretch of the desert with a private pool. Architecture follows a low horizontal Bedouin logic in stone, dark wood and woven palm, so the resort disappears into the landscape rather than announcing itself.
