Overview
The story
A private yacht charter is one of Dubai's most enjoyable ways to see the coastline. The route takes in some of the city's most photographed landmarks from the water, and the shared, unhurried pace on deck is a welcome contrast to the pace of the city.
Afternoon or evening: Charters are arranged from Dubai Marina, with guests collected from their hotel and driven to the berth. Our team meets guests at the pontoon, handles the safety briefing and departure paperwork, and stays available throughout the charter.
A typical three-hour route: • Cruise along Dubai Marina, passing the Cayan Tower, marina residences and super-yachts • Exit into open water past Bluewaters Island and Ain Dubai • Turn towards Palm Jumeirah, with photo stops for Atlantis The Palm and — subject to distance and weather — the outer crescent • Return along the JBR beachfront back to the marina Longer charters can add swim stops at the outer sand-bank areas (weather-dependent), or a slower pace with sunset photography.
Evening charters are timed so guests are on deck as the skyline lights come on. Photographs are exceptional at golden hour and immediately after sunset.
Catering: Yachts are typically fitted with a fridge and small pantry. Guests can bring their own refreshments, or request a pre-arranged menu — light canapés, a full plated dinner, or a chef on board — as an add-on to the charter.
Guests can expect: Fully private use of the yacht, a professional captain and crew, life jackets for adults and children, sound system on board, sun deck and shaded seating, and interior salon and bathroom facilities on most vessels. Yacht category and interior configuration are confirmed on quote.
Best suited for: Couples on a special occasion, families and small groups, honeymoon and anniversary travellers, and repeat visitors looking for a signature Dubai afternoon. Larger groups can be accommodated on a bigger vessel — capacity is confirmed with the quote.
What to wear and bring: Comfortable, relaxed clothing; a swimsuit and towel if a swim stop is planned; a light layer for the return leg in cooler months; sunglasses, sunscreen and a hat; and phones or cameras for photography.
