The story
A 150-metre gold rectangle facing both old and new Dubai simultaneously, the Frame is a purpose-built architectural landmark that opened in 2018 and has become one of the city's most photographed structures. Inside, an elevator rises to the Sky Deck — a walkable glass-floor bridge where the north window shows Deira, the creek and the historic quarter, and the south window reveals the Sheikh Zayed Road skyline, Burj Khalifa and the ever-expanding Downtown. The lower level then guides guests through a short immersive gallery imagining Dubai in 2071. The whole visit fits comfortably inside 90 minutes.

Bring sunglasses — the polished gold surfaces are bright at midday. Guests with a fear of heights should note the glass floor becomes opaque only briefly for effect and remains transparent throughout most of the walk. Photography is welcome throughout.
