Important notes & travel tips
Important notes
Grand Mosque closes for prayer times and Friday mornings — the itinerary is timed around this automatically. Modest attire mandatory; abayas and thobes provided free at the mosque entrance for anyone underdressed.
Travel tips
Metro and tram are excellent for independent afternoons — a Nol Silver card covers a whole family for AED 25 loaded. The best sunset views are free: JBR beach at The Beach, Burj Al Arab from the public beach viewpoint, and the Marina walk from Bluewaters.
